Welcome to Kisaanlok. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kisaanlok mobile application ("App"), and related services provided by Kisaanlok Agritech Private Limited ("Kisaanlok", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, registering with, or using the Kisaanlok App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About Kisaanlok

Kisaanlok is an agricultural technology platform intended to provide farmers and other users with agriculture-related information and digital services.

The App may provide information relating to crops, markets/mandis, weather, agricultural activities, and other agriculture-related services.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating and using your account.

By using the App, you confirm that:

  • The information provided by you is accurate and up to date.

  • You will use the App only for lawful purposes.

  • You will not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its services.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and mobile device.

3. Account Registration and OTP Authentication

Kisaanlok may require you to create or access an account using your mobile number.

We may use a One-Time Password (OTP) for registration, login, authentication, and account verification.

You are responsible for ensuring that the mobile number provided by you belongs to you or that you are otherwise authorized to use it.

You must not attempt to access another person's account or use another person's OTP

4. Information Provided by Users

The App may collect information such as:

  • Name

  • Mobile number

  • Village name

  • Mandi name

  • District

  • Location information, where permission is provided and required for certain features.

You agree to provide accurate information and update it when necessary.

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Weather Information

Kisaanlok may provide weather-related information to assist farmers with agricultural planning and decision-making.

Weather information may include, where available:

  • Current weather conditions

  • Temperature

  • Rainfall information

  • Weather forecasts

  • Humidity

  • Wind information.

  • Other weather-related information

Weather information may be generated or obtained using information such as the selected village, district, selected location, or device location where location permission has been granted.

Weather information may be obtained from third-party weather data providers.

Weather information is provided for general informational and agricultural planning purposes only. Kisaanlok does not guarantee that weather information, forecasts, or alerts will always be accurate, complete, current, or available.

Weather conditions can change rapidly. Users should refer to official government or other authoritative weather advisories for important weather warnings, emergencies, or safety-related decisions

6. Agricultural and Market Information

Information provided through Kisaanlok, including crop-related information, mandi/market information, prices, agricultural recommendations, weather information, and other content, is provided for general informational purposes.

Kisaanlok does not guarantee that such information will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular agricultural decision.

Users should independently verify important information before making financial, agricultural, commercial, or other significant decisions.

7. Mandi and Market Information

Mandi and market-related information displayed through the App may be obtained from various sources and may change frequently.

Kisaanlok does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market price, mandi information, trading information, or related data.

Users should independently verify market information before entering into any transaction.

8. Location Services

Certain features of the App may require access to your device location.

Location information may be used to provide location-relevant features, including weather and agriculture-related services.

You may control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location permission may affect the availability or functionality of certain features.

9. Push Notifications

Kisaanlok may send push notifications relating to:

  • Weather information

  • Agricultural information

  • Market or mandi information

  • Important service updates

  • Account or security-related information.

  • Other relevant notifications

You may control notification permissions through your device settings.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services and technology providers, including Firebase and other service providers, for functions such as authentication, notifications, hosting, security, analytics, or other technical services.

Your use of the App may therefore involve the processing of certain information by these third-party service providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy policies.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, graphics, designs, software, and other materials made available through Kisaanlok, unless otherwise stated, are owned by or licensed to Kisaanlok Agritech Private Limited.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the App or its content without prior written permission.

12. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes.

  • Provide false or misleading information.

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the App, servers, databases, or systems.

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the App.

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful software.

  • Copy or commercially exploit the App without authorization.

  • Use automated systems to access or extract information from the App without permission.

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

13. Availability of Services

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the App or its services at any time.

Certain services may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, network problems, third-party service interruptions, weather-data provider limitations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimer

Kisaanlok is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will always be available or uninterrupted.

  • Information provided through the App will always be accurate or complete.

  • Weather forecasts will always be accurate.

  • Mandi or market information will always be current or accurate.

  • Agricultural information will be suitable for every farm, crop, location, or situation.

  • The App will be free from errors or technical issues.

Use of information provided through Kisaanlok is at your own discretion and risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kisaanlok Agritech Private Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other losses arising from or related to:

  • Use or inability to use the App.

  • Reliance on weather, agricultural, market, or mandi information.

  • Errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies in information.

  • Third-party services.

  • Network or technical failures.

  • Unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an account if we reasonably believe that the user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or misused the App.

You may request deletion of your account in accordance with our Account Deletion Policy.

17. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any updated Terms will be published on this page with the revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts located in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising in connection with these Terms.
